What's it all about.....................This is a crowdsourcing appeal to raise money to make a short film that we hope will be instrumental in bringing about greater governmental responsibility in the care and welfare of soldiers, sailors, and aircrew psychologically and physically traumatized by conflict.

Crowd-Sourcing

Investors pledge donations to the film project through a closed, and confidential ‘By Bid’ process, thus ensuring fairness and equality, the intention being to gather as many pledges as possible in the allocated time frame. The ‘By Bid’ process will terminate at a prescribed closing date, and the highest value donation from all the closed bids received will secure for themselves, or a named third party, a position at the top of the ‘perks & benefits’ table.

The highest bid received, above the minimum target set (reserve value) for the top ‘perk’, will receive an exclusive invitation to be on set for the duration of the shoot in a foreign location (tbc) in addition to one of each of the subsequent ‘perks’ on offer, a sliding scale of ‘perks’ offered to lesser bids. The intention is to allocate all of the perks in a descending scale to those who pledge the highest value donations that allow us to accumulate our target £50,000 budget.

Donations will be secured in a specifically named film fund, managed and controlled by 3 industry professionals, and requiring multiple signatures before funds can be released. This ensures the security of the budget until production. Production costs will be audited upon project completion, and those audits available to all contributors should they wish to see, to ensure funds have been appropriately spent. The project will be scheduled, produced, and delivered for the purpose of world film festival release, with additional funds being sought if necessary from other sources to assist with ‘deliverables’ to those festivals we would otherwise be unable to attend for financial reasons.

All bids must be received within the bidding period, and no bids tendered outside of these dates can be considered. No alternative ‘perks’ can be offered outwith of those listed. All monies raised from the exhibition, sale, or licensing of this film to any territory, and on any platform will be collected in a specific collection fund and managed on behalf of the charities named (tbc) by a securities company or bank. The same signatories as needed from the production will be required to allocate these monies to the charities. We will endeavour to ensure also that all ‘perk’ winners can be in attendance when those donations are officially made to the charities, and for them to participate in any and all media opportunities that arise.

This is a very special, and unique opportunity to say thank you to all of our Armed Forces serving overseas, so on their behalf may I thank you in advance for your contribution.
